About Me
I come from a medical background but have a creative streak, and have always loved flowers. I have been lucky enough to develop this hobby and turn it into a business. I also love being outside with nature and have definitely caught the growing bug, Unfortunately I don't have the space or skills to grow on a big enough scale, so use lots of lovely local flower growers.
You might ask why only British, especially when there are so many amazing imported flowers available. I made the decision to use only British as I want to tread as lightly as I can. Floristry is a luxury and I would like my tiny role in this industry to be as sustainable as possible. My work is plastic free and can be completely biodegradable if needed. I'm definitely not perfect but I am working hard to be better with every decision I make.
It might mean that are fewer flowers to choose from during the colder months but when the choices include narcissi, ranunculus and hellebores, not to mention beautiful British foliage, it's not really a hardship!
When not at work you can find me hanging out with my lovely family or cuddling our two house bunnies.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my website. I would love to hear from you!

Sustainability
Sustainability is an important part of my work, which is why I only use British grown flowers. The flowers I grow are grown without pesticides and chemicals, and I source flowers from growers with a similar ethos, and as local as possible. Out of season the growers I use are further afield but still British.
All packaging is natural and biodegradable. Bouquets are finished with twine or silk ribbon, and the labels used are made from sugar cane fibre. I avoid any use of plastic, single use or otherwise. I have created my website using a greener host to lower my carbon footprint.
